David W. Lippy - Managing Partner / Co-Founder

Managing partner and co-founder David Lippy began his professional career as a Legislative Assistant in both the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives while attending Georgetown University.

His consulting career began by working on classified projects for the U.S. Air Force at the Rand Corporation in Santa Monica, California. After completing his graduate work at Tufts University and his post-graduate work at Harvard, David began his own consulting firm in Boston focusing on the aerospace and defense industries. During his tenure, the company opened offices in Japan, Germany, Italy and Israel.

Clients included every major aerospace and defense contractor in the U.S. including the U.S. Defense Department, White House, National Security Council, U.S. Department of State and NASA. David and his team had a division that took several companies public as part of their venture capital work. Before the creation of Effective Global Communications, David was the President of the World of Children Awards, the equivalent of the Nobel Peace Prize for children’s advocates.


For the past two decades David’s specialty has been turn-around and start–up companies. For the past five years he has focused his efforts on the emerging streaming media industry with a specialized interest in applying this new medium to both marketing and communications.

Dave Weissman

For over 15 years, Dave Weissman has been the owner and force behind DKW Multimedia, providing all types of media solutions for a wide variety of companies and projects.

 

Dave is an experienced professional photographer and has directed and produced numerous videos, commercials and special events. Dave and his wife, Kim, have teamed together many times on website design, graphic design and managed a multitude of projects.

Dave is also both the publisher and editor of Columbus Wired, Central Ohio's Premier Online Magazine. As a credentialed media representative, he reports and produces video following The Ohio State Buckeyes, The Columbus Crew (MLS) the Columbus Blue Jackets (NHL), The PGA Tour and many more events.

Dave is a stay at home father who enjoys watching his two children grow up in front of him. He is a leader, teacher and motivator who has been involved with marketing, sales and communications most of his entire career.

Ron Costa, Sr. Partner

Ron Costa graduated from Villanova University and spent the next 9 years working for a major defense contactor until deciding to pursue entrepreneurial internet opportunities. Since then Ron has been designing internet marketing strategies and web sites for over 10 years and has supported the development and implementation of over 500 websites for a variety of clients..

From brand-building, content syndication and website development to ecommerce applications, Ron has implemented numerous marketing projects "from concept to reality". Recently he developed a complete turnkey text message marketing solution, enabling clients to communicate more effectively with their target audience via their mobile devices.

As part of the Effective Global team, Ron’s primary responsibility is to provide personalized training and consultative client hand-holding to teach all aspects of the Text Message Marketing Solution. Ron also works with EGC clients interested in combining Text Message Marketing with streaming video, social media, and permission based e marketing.

 

 

Kurt Steele

Kurt Steele has 15 years in technology consulting and solutions. He has worked with many fortune 500 companies such as: Hewlett Packard, Rayovac, Nestle, Vodafone, T-Mobile and South Africa Telkom. His experience spans from Packaged Software Solutions to Hosting and Server Solutions.

He has consulted with a wide range of businesses from Fortune 500 to Small and Medium size companies. His knowledge has grown with the explosion of internet marketing and he has assisted a great deal of entrepreneurs in designing, executing, evaluating and optimizing permission based email strategies.

His approach has been learning the power and value of building a list of subscribers and holding them as a loyal audience. He has worked with early adopters in email list management and marketing techniques. He has provided training, consulting and solutions for a wide range of industries such as consumer packaged goods, real estate, services, telecommunications, legal, and insurance.
